Marshal (Mott) Meeks
General Supervisor
In 1985 joined another Lexington native, Dick Hyde, to help build R.W. Hyde Construction. Prior to joining Hyde he had his own residential construction and renovation company, Woodplane, Inc. While Mott had studied at the Boston Architectural Center and worked for the architectural firm – Drummey Rosane Anderson, his talents were focused on the use of tools and materials. Mott is a craftsman and it's those skills and knowledge he brought with him to the construction business. You won't find Mott in the office, he works in the field and has been the primary focus of the successful facility services Hyde has provided its clients.
If Mott is not working on a Hyde project he's working on a personal project in his woodworking shop at home. He recently completed building a hand-made wooden canoe which received the praise of Wooden Boat magazine. He also continues to add to his collection of fine antique canes and is known by many for his semi- annual Halloween extravaganza.
